The Ukrainian army destroyed an enemy tank, anti-aircraft missile system and ammunition depot in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in the past day.
The Ukrinform correspondent reported, the relevant statement was made by the JFO press service.
During this period, in the Donetsk Region and the Luhansk Region, the JFO group successfully repelled 9 enemy attacks.
As a result, the Ukrainian army destroyed Russia’s 1 air defense missile system, 1 tank, 1 artillery system, 10 armored vehicles, 2 special engineering vehicles, 2 motor vehicles, and 1 ammunition depot.
Ukrainian air defense units shot down 1 cruise missile and 3 Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Enemies take heavy damage near Izium.
Near the town of Izium, Kharkiv region, the enemy is testing the strength of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is continuously suffering significant losses, both in manpower and equipment.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kharkiv regional military agency, Oleh Syniehubov, said this in a comment to Suspilne.
“Heavy fighting is going on in the Izium district. The enemy is constantly trying to test our defensive positions. Our fighters are holding them. The enemy suffers considerable losses there, including aircraft. There were also heavy losses in personnel and armored vehicles.” he say.
