This new mini-documentary reveals the developmental and creative process behind “Critical Moments,” an original film series about psychotherapists and their varied approaches and methods in treating adolescent trauma. The series appears on the National Child Traumatic Stress Network. The documentary reveals the unique collaborative approach taken by partnering therapists, filmmakers, and actors– as they use fiction, drama, and real life to venture inside “created” therapy experiences when treating adolescents in crisis.
The film was created in partnership with the Center for the Treatment of Developmental Trauma Disorders at the University of Connecticut Health Center, and New Zenith productions. Executive Producers: Julian Ford and Ed Wierzbicki.
