The Munich Security Conference will be held in person at its traditional venue in 2022 after the previous year’s conference was only virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Media will not be allowed in and there will be reduced attendance. The Munich conference, launched by Western nations at the height of the Cold War to address military conflicts, takes place on February 18 – 20, 2022.
