Disney’s Soul was a solid film – here are things you may not have thought about

I decided to do a review of the Disney Movie Soul for those of you who’d like a quick assessment. Overall, Disney did a great job on this film, which was done in partnership with Pixar.

Soul was visually appealing, pretty accurate and well-researched. When Disney made Soul, it was interesting to me and my fiance for a few reasons:

1) We are black
2) We have kids
3) She’s a therapist and deeply spiritual

Overall, Disney hit the mark pretty well with Soul, so as a black man and father, I’d like to provide some perspectives for you to consider. Oh and Jamie Foxx did a great job as well.
