Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ | Video Editions Comparison

Over the years, Disney has made changes and adjustments. Here are some comparison of the main ones, from the first released to the 25th anniversary edition.

Notes :
• All parts including soundtrack and video belong to The Walt Disney Compagny.
• Some other slight changes can be observed but are not visible here (for copyright and video duration issues)
• Both ‘Diamond Edition’ and ‘Signature Collection’ include the “Special Extended Edition” and the “Original Theatrical Edition”.
• While “Platinum Edition” DVD include a “Special Edition” and a “Original Theatrical Edition”, only the “Special Edition” can be visible on the VHS.
• Many aspects and changes in the 3D edition aim to improve the relief effects. Brightness/Contrast are also optimized to be seen with 3D glasses.
