NUMBER SEVEN – I wanna do the ten records thing, but I miss my friends dearly so let’s do the bands that I’ve played in – live or in the studio – in tribute to the friendships I’ve made, the memories I cherish and the albums I love.

LIVE PLAY ALONG – one take, no returns – fuck-ups and all – let’s do this!

Much like Tears for Fears and the 1984 hit song Easy Lover, The Jonbarr Hinge employed two lead singers – furthermore, like the Phil Collins / Tears for Fears analog above, one sings of love and the other isolation and death. The 1971 Wham! annual featured in the video doesn’t actually feature any coverage of either member of Wham!, nor any of their music or indeed anything about the 80s pop duo, which is fucking shit, honestly.

The piano part here is an arbitrary non-canon addition solely for the video, as I’m actually the drummer.

Trivia: In science fiction literature, a Jonbar Hinge is the crossing point of two divergent reality timelines.
